As you’re probably aware, this past week has brought on one of Atlanta’s biggest snowstorms, so we’ve been out of the shop for a couple of days. It feels great to be back at work! Did this stop our team members? No way! Hard-working team members have been doing things at home – finalizing our scouting sheets, completing our business materials, and even making this 6:1 catapult model!
Do we have the best team ever? We think so.
Hello from Team 2415!
We just wanted to thank all of the teams that came out to BizCon yesterday! It was so much fun for us to be able to present to other FIRST teams and spread the knowledge that we’ve picked up over our seven years as a team. Special shout-out to FRC Teams 1261 and 2974 for their GREAT presentations yesterday!
Even though BizCon is over, there’s still more to look out for this season. The WiredCats would like to invite all FRC Teams to fill out these two forms and apply for some time to work with us. Firstly, we’re opening up our workshop on Saturdays to teams who apply in the “Workshop Visitation Form” below. Secondly, to any teams who can either reach Westminster or contact us using Skype, we invite you to fill out the Business Consulting Form and set up a time to work with us on your business submissions this season.

Hello from Team 2415!
Last week we continued our CAD and prototyping work, making HUGE progress on our design for this season. We’ve also been hard at work machining our own parts in our workshop and working with sponsors to find parts for this year’s robot. This week’s priority is simply to continue work! While we fabricate our robot and wait on parts from companies, we’ll be focusing on preparing our drivers for this season and fixing our final design for competition. Also, this weekend is BizCon! If you’re a Georgia team, please let us know if you’re coming to BizCon by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the number of team members you’re planning to send. We hope as many people as possible will make it! If you have any design ideas to toss around with us or need any sort of build or business advice, feel free to email! Good luck, and go teams!
Team 2415 is excited to announce our build season agenda for helping as many people as possible! First, we will be inviting teams who need machining assistance to work alongside us during weekend work hours. We will also work to strengthen business teams around the country, offering them the chance to Skype us or come down to work with submissions for this year. Lastly, we will be holding our first ever business convention, BizCon, on Saturday the 25th! Working with FRC Teams 1261 and 2974, we will spend the afternoon holding seminars on the best ways to ameliorate business teams in the state of Georgia. For more information, please email us!
We are SUPER excited about 2014’s game, Aerial Assist! The goal of this game is to manage two-foot-diameter exercise balls amongst your alliance and score as many points as possible within the match period. Last week, we were hard at work designing and prototyping. While our CAD and machining teams are beginning the early phases of fabrication, our code team is at work drafting drive train and PID basics. Now going into week two, we hope to finalize our prototypes and drive train and get working on a final game design! Good luck, and go teams!
